Chapter 3104: Deteriorating Strategic Outlook

Words could not overstate the sheer horrors of the strategic outlook of the Panama Continent.

After two failures to kick the Evolutionary Army from the Panama Continent, they were only limited to slowing the evolutionaries down. They threw as many Martial Artists and even siege weapons and attacks imported from across the continent to limit their expansion.

And yet, the evolutionaries were as tenacious as roaches.

They weathered all the damage patiently.

And all damage was fixed within a few hours at most.

It was despairing to see how ineffective even their greatest forces were against this tremendously powerful civilization.

Their Martial Sages were further divided between the therianthropes, which had begun to deploy even greater forces against the Panamic Alliance in their perceived animal abuse. The Emperor of Harmony even tried a more desperate attempt to declare an absolute oath to protect all the beasts and monsters on the continent, and yet, the therianthropes could not be deterred.

No oaths, offers, or declarations mattered if one didn’t have the power to reinforce them. And it became all too clear that the Panama Continent was simply far too lacking in power relative to all the powers that sought to colonize the entire continent.

BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM!!!

“Rgh…” Bodhisattva Maitreyi grimaced as a formation of bull-like beasts converged upon her, led by the Destroyer Bull of the Minotaur.

Her Heavenly Step of Boundless Light broke as she returned to her normal form, wounded across her entire body, as she faced a squadron of Sage-level entities led by a beast that could fight a Transcendent candidate.

BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM!!!

“Argh!” Several more Martial Sages grimaced as they were overwhelmed by the sheer number of therianthropes and their beasts.

They had brought with them nearly three hundred beasts this time, knowing full well that the Martial Sages couldn’t match those numbers with the other invasions that they had dealt with.

Even though the average beast and therianthrope was actually weaker than the average Martial Sage, they possessed truly astounding numbers, making them a force to be reckoned with.

A force that the Panamic Alliance simply couldn’t contain.

Bodhiattva Maitreyi closed her eyes as she accepted the inevitable.

“Retreat.”

The air boiled.

The atmosphere darkened despite the bright light of dawn cracking at the edge of the horizon.

And yet, the injured Martial Sages heeded her command with reluctance while the beasts of the therianthropes roared with triumph.

“ROOOAAAARRR!!!”

“RAAAWWWRRR!!!”

“KRRRIIIEEEKKK!!!”

Fifteen days after the Unfolding, the therianthropes from Kiriket successfully established a base in West Panama.

It was a trend that became increasingly common as the sheer number of incoming convoys of the Kandrian Empire grew almost exponentially, spreading thin the assets of the Panama Alliance.

Five days after the therianthropes, the giants successfully overcame the resistance led by Amare, who was could not hold back a whopping three giants with Martial Hearts along with another sevent giants, each stronger than the average Martial Sage. They set up a small settlement in Samarkha, devoid of technology as they commenced an almost hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

Their consumption rates, however, were destructively intense as they began consuming flora and fauna at an alarming rate. Perhaps the only good part was that they were stalled by the powerful beasts and monsters in esoterified extensions of the Beast Domain who fought back against being consumed, keeping them busy for the time being.

Several days later, the dwarves also rapidly established a presence on the continent, albeit spread across multiple regions of the continent as they rapidly began mining operations to extract the esoteric matter of the Panama Continent. By spreading across many regions and arming each region with powerful giant mechs, they made it almost impossible for the Panamic Alliance to actually kick them out.

And yet, they weren’t even the harshest of the six original parties.

The worst of them all were the tekvores.

BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The tekvores, having rapidly built a makeshift base in the ocean in just three weeks, began launching more thorough invasions led by none other than Argenton himself. A myriad of tekvores began eroding away at the Esocline Federation’s defense, and the Martial Sages deployed to protect them as the Reverend of Reckoning clashed with him all out.

They deliberately attacked Ethe socline Federation despite knowing that it was much easier to target another less defended point on the continent.

It wasn’t just the fact that the Esocline Federation had a prisoner of war.

It was also the fact that they greeted the technology of the Esoterist.

They cultivated technology by integrating it into their bodies, and the sheer thought of how much more powerful they would get upon getting their hands on all this alien esoteric technology was too attractive for them to reject.

Who cared if the evolutionaries already had a military base?

Who cared if the therianthropes already had begun to woo the native beasts and monsters of the Panama Continent?

Who cared if the dwarves had already begun mining? With the Esoterist’s technological prowess, they would ultimately start off from a much higher point compared to their peers. This would likely give them the edge needed to overcome their enemies and targets in the true world.

If the power of esoteric technology and conventional technology were combined, they would achieve a level of technological cultivation that very few in the world had. Perhaps then they would be able to reach a high realm of power on the technological cultivation path.

Regardless, their ambitions spelled disaster for the Panamic Alliance and the Esocline Federation, which was of high strategic value to the Panama Continent. A hundred Sages needed to be deployed just to ensure that the technocracy was not swallowed up by the Imperial Tekvorial Federation while the remaining two hundred Martial Sages were divided between the evolutionaries, the dwarves, the therianthropes, and the giants.

The remaining hundreds of hostile convoys were thrown to the Martial Masters, who arrived too late and with too little due to how busy the World Bridge had become.

Three weeks after the Unfolding, the Panama Continent was infiltrated with four major colonial presences, hundreds of minor explorers, mining, and settlement enterprises, and one major ongoing invasion upon their technological center.

The strategic outlook deteriorated with each passing day as the Panama Alliance reached the very brink of complete destruction.
