Chapter 4470: Hijack

His sudden interruption made Ye Jian, who didn’t understand, narrow her eyes slightly. She glanced at the driver who had a fierce look on his side profile. She paused for a moment and asked her comrades with a smile, “What did the driver say? I didn’t understand a word. Did you understand?”

Weaver raised his eyebrows and spread his hands casually. He smiled and said, “I didn’t understand either.:

White Crane tilted his head and asked the driver with a blank expression, “Excuse me, were you talking to the three of us just now?”

The driver quickly glanced at White Crane. His deep eyes were cold and suffused with the chill of a winter morning. He spoke a string of words in the local language. White Crane turned his head and said to his comrades sitting behind him, “There’s a language barrier. I don’t understand either.”

White Crane, who had turned his head to speak, turned his body sideways. He made a casual gesture with his left hand, and the two people sitting behind laughed.

The three of them looked at each other and smiled. They had a tacit understanding.

It wasn’t that White Crane didn’t understand. He understood. The first sentence was about the weather inland, and the second sentence was about why they came here.

That was right. The driver asked the three of them why they came here.

This time, they had encountered an unfriendly local, and it was this taxi driver.

The distance from the airport to the city was not far. The border was wide, and there were few people. There was no need to build an airport dozens of kilometers away from the city like in the mainland. The car drove extremely fast. The dashboard showed that they had already driven for more than 125 miles, and the number was still rising.

Ye Jian couldn’t help but hold the silver wire with one hand. Her eyes were already cold.

Weaver secretly patted Ye Jian’s arm and comforted her. There was no need to be nervous. They were ready for everything. When the car turned right at a fork in the road, White Crane and Weaver knew that something was wrong.

They just needed to drive along the middle road in the city. However, the driver chose to turn right. Where did he plan to bring them?

White Crane, who was in front, stretched out his right hand from the narrow gap between the passenger seat and the car door. He curled his middle three fingers and raised his thumb and pinky. Then, he retracted his hand and placed it beside his ear. He pointed his pinky to his mouth and pressed his thumb close to his ear.

The entire gesture was completed in about three seconds.

Ye Jian received the signal and said to her two comrades, “I want to sleep for a while. Tell me when we reach.”

“Okay.” Weaver took out his phone and nodded with a smile. The three of them fell silent.

Ye Jian closed her eyes and pretended to sleep. White Crane pretended to look at the scenery outside. Weaver sent a message to the main forces in the desert.

Xia Jinyuan didn’t see the message on his cell phone immediately. About an hour later, he took out his phone and turned it on after completing his task.

He was wearing a desert camouflage uniform. He bent down and walked to the camouflage tent to look for Z7. “Locate Weaver’s cell phone. He sent me a message an hour ago. I suspect that he met someone from the East.”

Z7 was establishing a data connection. Hearing what Xia Jinyuan said, he replied in disbelief, “They encountered bad people when coming out of the airport? They’re not so unlucky. That’s probably not the case.”

“Cut the crap. The airport isn’t peaceful. They’ve mobilized plainclothes officers inside and outside. The North has always been a little chaotic.”

Xia Jinyuan took off his helmet and stared at the computer screen with his black eyes.

As Z7 completed his tracking, the small red dots on the computer started blinking. Were they heading in their direction?
