Chapter 812 - 812: Fanatical Fans

As soon as Li Qianfan finished speaking, he took one step forward and instantly appeared in front of Chen Feng, throwing a punch directly at Chen Feng’s nose!

“Stop!” Lin Jingying shouted.

Li Qianfan’s fist abruptly halted, stopping less than a centimeter away from Chen Feng’s nose.

Even though Li Qianfan’s fist didn’t actually hit Chen Feng, the wind generated by the force blew Chen Feng’s hair straight back, flying toward the back of his head.

By the time Li Qianfan slowly withdrew his right hand, two streams of bright red blood—one long and one short—were already flowing from Chen Feng’s nostrils!

Everyone present was stunned by the scene!

Li Qianfan hadn’t even struck Chen Feng, yet just the wind from his punch had caused Chen Feng to bleed!

What would have happened if the punch had actually landed? Could Chen Feng have survived?

Chances are, he wouldn’t have made it out of this alive!

Lin Jingying hurriedly ran over, grabbed Li Qianfan’s wrist, and pleaded, “Li Xiang, can you do me a favor? Chen Feng isn’t your match; I’ll admit defeat on his behalf.”

“Alright, I’ll give you face. But earlier, he spoke rudely to me—this matter can’t be left unresolved,” Li Qianfan replied.

“So what do you want? He’s been working for me for years; can’t you just let it go?” Lin Jingying said again.

Li Qianfan said, “Alright, how about he apologizes to me? Then we can call it even.”

Lin Jingying immediately turned to Chen Feng and ordered, “Chen Feng, apologize to Li Xiang now!”

Afraid that Chen Feng might cling to his pride and refuse to back down, Lin Jingying was preparing to scold him further, but to her surprise, Chen Feng bowed deeply without hesitation.

“Mr. Li, I’ve said many unpleasant things just now. Please don’t take them to heart. I promise I won’t oppose you in the future and will follow your lead!” Chen Feng declared earnestly.

Chen Feng’s straightforward apology caught Lin Jingying off guard.

But Lin Jingying quickly understood.

Chen Feng wasn’t stupid—he had likely already noticed something unusual about Li Qianfan and probably deduced that Li Qianfan was a cultivator.

If that was the case, he certainly wouldn’t foolishly continue to feud with Li Qianfan.

Apologizing might cost him some face now, but what did face matter?

Face, no matter how important, wasn’t worth risking his life!

“Remember this: don’t go around acting like the world revolves around you. There are plenty of people out there stronger than you. Don’t you understand that there is always someone better and something greater?” Li Qianfan warned.

“I understand now. I’ll make sure to keep a low profile from now on,” Chen Feng quickly promised.

Li Qianfan finally nodded in satisfaction, stepped down from the stage, and found a seat to relax.

Chen Feng also left the stage soon after.

The bodyguards gathered around, each wearing an expression of hesitation as if they wanted to say something but didn’t dare.

Chen Feng lowered his voice and said, “From now on, none of you should ever provoke Mr. Li. I’m almost certain he’s a cultivator!”

“What?”

“He’s actually a…”

“Oh my god!”

“No wonder Miss Lin hired him as soon as she arrived in Dadong City; turns out he’s no ordinary person!”

All the bodyguards turned to look at Li Qianfan, each of them trembling with fear.

Time slipped by, and it was afternoon.

Lin Jingying was still on stage rehearsing while Li Qianfan, Chen Feng, and the other bodyguards waited below.

After Li Qianfan had demonstrated his martial arts prowess, Chen Feng and the bodyguards’ attitudes toward him had completely changed—no longer seeking trouble with him, they even took the initiative to strike up conversations and build rapport.

Li Qianfan, not being one to hold grudges, responded warmly and cordially to them.

Suddenly, an unexpected event occurred.

A young man who looked like a college student burst into the auditorium from outside and rushed toward Lin Jingying on stage.

“Lin Jingying, I love you! I’m your fan! Please give me your autograph…”

Li Qianfan did not make a move since the college student was just an ordinary person, and Chen Feng and the bodyguards easily restrained him.

“How did you get in here?” Chen Feng demanded angrily.

The theater manager rushed over and said hurriedly, “I had arranged for security at the theater entrance to keep order—there’s no way he could have gotten in!”

“I came in through the back door,” the young college student explained.

“The back door—so that’s it! My oversight. I’ll immediately send someone to guard the back door, and incidents like this will never happen again,” the manager promised hastily.

Lin Jingying stepped down from the stage and asked Chen Feng to release the college student, then gave him an autograph to send him away.

However, Lin Jingying’s face had already darkened; it was clear she was troubled by something.

At six o’clock, Lin Jingying finished her rehearsal and approached Li Qianfan and Chen Feng. “It’s time for us to leave, but I imagine there will be quite a few fans outside who’ve caught wind of things. Leaving here might be difficult.”

“This was just the first rehearsal, and already there’s such a commotion?” Li Qianfan asked in surprise.

“Of course. Miss Lin is one of Hua Country’s most famous female celebrities. Her fans span the nation, many of them ardent and passionate,” Chen Feng explained.

Li Qianfan thought for a moment and said, “Let’s check things out first. I have a solution, so don’t worry.”

Hearing this, Lin Jingying immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

Although Li Qianfan didn’t elaborate on his plan, his identity as a cultivator gave Lin Jingying a deep sense of security. As long as Li Qianfan said so, she had no reason to doubt him.

With Li Qianfan, Chen Feng, and the bodyguards escorting her, Lin Jingying stepped out of the grand theater, only to be surrounded completely as soon as they exited.

Over a thousand fans had gathered in the theater plaza, completely encircling the area. Many media reporters were among them as well.

“Lin Jingying, hello! I’m a reporter from Dadong City’s Xuanyin Media. Can I interview you?”

“I’m from Dadong City’s Xinghua Media. May I take a few minutes of your time?”

Reporters surged forward, blocked by Chen Feng and the bodyguards, yet still desperately extending their microphones, seemingly ready to shove them into Lin Jingying’s face.

Meanwhile, the fervent fans were shouting excitedly.

“Lin Jingying, I love you!”

“Can I have your autograph?”

“Lin Jingying, I’ll always support you!”

The cries and shouts grew louder and louder, the sea of people bustling and chaotic.

Faced with the overwhelming crowd, even Li Qianfan felt a bit of a headache.

No wonder Lin Jingying had been so worried earlier—this certainly was a tricky situation. Surrounded by such a mass of fervent fans, there was no hard-line solution they could take. Leaving this place would indeed be challenging!

“What should we do now…”

Lin Jingying said helplessly, her face full of frustration.
