Chapter 6052 The Dragonblood Legion’s Stage

The dragon slaying weapon had been forged using the Imperial Dragon race’s ancient methods—its very purpose was to exterminate fellow dragons.

Fortunately, this dragon spear had been tossed into the primal chaos space. Its item-spirit struggled, only to be wiped out by the laws of the primal chaos space.

With the item-spirit destroyed, the binding runes of the spear collapsed. The force that had sealed the dragon race’s soul and bloodline was wiped away. In its place, the indestructible soul essence of the dragon race gradually started to reawaken, turning into a new item-spirit.

However, this new item-spirit was unlike any other. It was formed from the fused wills of thousands of fallen dragons, so it was extremely chaotic. It needed a great master to bring out its true power.

As the master of the primal chaos space, Long Chen was the one who had freed these dragons from their shackles. Thus, the dragons’ lingering wills instinctively felt immense gratitude toward him.

At Long Chen’s command, they accepted Gu Yang as their new master without hesitation. And so, the weapon that had once reaped the lives of countless dragons now found a new purpose.

With a quiver from the spear, divine light burst from it. A spear-image tore through space, surging toward the Taotie.

The Taotie’s expression changed dramatically as an intense sensation of death swept over him. What terrified him even more was that this attack didn’t rely on Gu Yang’s bloodline power, soul force, or even heaven and earth’s energy. It was purely the spear’s runes at work, yet its might was already so overwhelming.

He let out a roar, spreading his wings wide enough to blot out the sun. Then he folded them protectively in front of him. Each black divine feather shimmered with black light as a barrier formed.

BOOM!

The dragon spear tore through the Taotie’s defense like it was paper. A gaping rift was left behind in the void. Just as it seemed he was about to die, a golden shield suddenly appeared before him. Etched into its surface was a divine diagram of a Taotie.

BOOM!

The spear-image exploded against the shield, sending it flying. Though the Taotie was badly shaken, he survived.

At that moment, a haughty-looking woman appeared in the sky. Fiery runes swirled around her, and her mere presence made the void tremble.

A frightening ominous aura shot out when she appeared, shocking even the Dragonblood warriors. She was another Scorching Flame Taotie, but she was far more powerful than the male from before. Her bloodline aura was overwhelming.

And she wasn’t alone.

Six more experts appeared with her, each radiating great pressure. Though not quite as terrifying as her, they were all stronger than the first Taotie man.

“Many thanks for your aid, lady Xue Sha,” said the first Taotie man, visibly shaken from his near-death experience. He immediately dropped to one knee before her.

“Scram. You’ve thoroughly embarrassed the Scorching Flame Taotie race!” Xue Sha’s voice was cold and filled with disdain.

“Yes.”

The man lowered his head and retreated in shame, the arrogance he had previously flaunted completely gone. He now resembled a beaten dog.

Xue Sha turned her gaze to Gu Yang, causing his heart to thump violently under her piercing eyes. An intense sensation of danger enveloped him.

But this only stirred his fighting spirit. After all, opponents of this level were rare. Gu Yang pointed his spear at her, his blood surging with the will to battle.

However, she didn’t even spare him another glance. Her gaze shifted to Long Chen—filled with contempt.

“Inferior human,” she said icily. “You were so arrogant when you attacked the ten thousand races. That arrogance will only lead your people to annihilation.”

“If you have something to say, say it. If not, fuck off,” snapped Guo Ran before Long Chen could respond.

“You court death!”

Long Chen’s arrogant attitude and Guo Ran’s provocation instantly brought out the killing intent of the Scorching Flame Taoties.

Guo Ran snorted. “Where does your confidence even come from? If you’re here to fight, then stop posturing and start.”

“You delusional fools,” Xue Sha sneered. “Do you have any idea how many beings out there want your lives?”

Pointing toward the distance, Long Chen finally said, “I won’t bother counting how many there are, but I already see several groups out there holding photographic jades. What is this? Trying to copy my Dragonblood Legion’s method? Are you hoping to record how you marvelously destroy my Dragonblood Legion? Record our cries of regret before death? Watch us kneel and beg for mercy? Or maybe you want to film our painful repentance?

“You’re trying to provoke us as a setup for whatever plan comes next, right? Child, spare that effort. Just that baldie in front of you has a shiny enough head to guide you all straight to hell.”

Gu Yang’s face turned red, and the Dragonblood warriors couldn’t help laughing. With his fighting spirit soaring, the glow of his bald head had only intensified.

Long Chen continued, “Many experts were waiting for their chance in the surroundings, but you fools were the first to lose patience and charge in. Everyone else realized something was off, so they waited. But you blockheads only thought about how to gain the greatest spotlight. You are the true fools.”

“Enough! Since you want to die so badly, I’ll grant your wish!” Xue Sha shouted, her killing intent exploding.

It seemed there was no way for her to provoke Long Chen and his comrades, let alone intimidate them. If mental warfare failed, then there was nothing to do but attack.

“Hold it!” Long Chen suddenly raised a hand.

“What? Are you afraid now?” the woman mocked, smirking coldly.

Long Chen didn’t reply. He simply looked at her.

His silent stare grew longer… and longer… until Xue Sha started to feel uneasy. Goosebumps prickled her skin. Finally, she snapped, “What are you staring at?!”

Long Chen looked at her seriously and said, “You have really good skin.”

The sudden change of topic caught everyone off guard. Even the Taotie warriors almost vomited blood in frustration.

“Praising me won’t save you! You’ll all die here!” Xue Sha shouted furiously.

Long Chen fell silent again.

That woman instantly lost her patience. Blood-colored runes exploded from her body, and a terrifying pressure filled the heavens and the earth. Even though she was only using physical power, the pressure she exuded made people’s souls shudder. Her power was truly unfathomable.

At that moment, Long Chen turned to Mo Yang and the others and smiled. Then he declared, “Sovereign sprout disciples, stand down. Brothers of the Dragonblood Legion—this stage is ours now!”

As his voice echoed, the Dragonblood warriors’ auras erupted in unison, soaring like pillars of light that pierced the heavens.

In that instant, they broke through. Their collective will to battle resonated with the tribulation clouds above.

Violent waves of destructive power radiated outward, enveloping the world in chaos and fury.

The Dragonblood Legion’s moment had arrived!
