Chapter 2100 - 2100: Cleaning The City From Monsters

“Yes, here she is, her name is Benladra,” I said, as she stepped forward and nodded.

“Nice to meet you uncle!” she said.

“S-She’s huge… are you sure she’s a child?” the Sergeant asked.

“Yes she is, we belong to a species of… very tall people known as Ice Giants, well, not entirely, I am disguising as one while I’m a dragon, my daughter is an hybrid between Ice Giant and Dragon, my wife is the Ice Giant here,” I patted Benladann’s shoulders.

“I’m glad you could get along,” she nodded.

“Incredible, we had no idea there were even intelligent life here… I suppose we barely know about this world ourselves, and we would love to know more, but I guess this isn’t the place for that, right?” he laughed.

“Yeah, I guess-“

RUMBLE!

The ground suddenly shook, as the sand on the shore trembled and opened, revealing a gigantic figure emerging from within the underground.

“GRUOOOHHHH!”

It resembled a gigantic worm, covered on sea water and with gills, and glistening blue and pink scales, its jaws opened to reveal dozens of sharp fangs, it was over thirty meters tall.

The Sargeant and the soldiers panicked, stepping back as they began shooting at the thing with their guns, the monster’s scales were damaged, and they seemed to be able to pierce through its skin, making it bleed.

The thing is, the sheer size made it, so such little damage was barely of any importance for the monstrosity.

“What in God’s name is that thing?!” the old man asked.

“It seems to be a… Shore Sandworm,” I explained. “A Rank 7 Monster. I’ll take care of it.”

“Huh?” he looked back at me, as I swung my hand, a shockwave of invisible energy struck the monster, crushing it into the floor and killing it on the spot.

BOOOM!

“Well, that was easy, it was a pretty weak monster,” I said. “Rank 7s aren’t even a challenge.”

“N-Not even a challenge?!”

“Weak?!”

“Son, how strong are you?! Was that magic?” the Sargeant asked.

“Something like that,” I nodded. “But not exactly that… Let’s go to your base first, I want to heal everyone and make sure your people is safe. I’ll erect a barrier in the meantime and send my family and friends to hunt down the monsters and rescue any person left behind.”

“Thank you…” the Sergeant nodded, barely believing what was happening. “These last days have been hellish, we appreciate the help we can get… even if we’re risking getting this close with you, we have no other options at all.”

“If I wanted you dead your entire city would have already been wiped out,” I said. “So don’t worry.”

“…Haha,” he laughed nervously, cleaning the sweat from his forehead using a handkerchief.

Ah, I might have been a bit too rash there.

The soldiers glanced at us in disbelief, as we walked alongside the tanks and military cars, the jets and helicopters keeping a close eye on us from above.

Once we walked into the city, we quickly realized it was indeed in ruins, several buildings had collapsed and there were holes and cracks everywhere through the pavement.

“This area seems mostly clean from monsters,” Toren said. “But we don’t know what might appear, so be careful.”

As I nodded, I noticed several presences approaching, two from the ground, one from the skies, another from the left side.

RUMBLE!

Their footsteps resounded as the buildings began collapsing, seeing this human city had made me really nostalgic, but because it was all in ruins, the whole thing was kind of ruined.

Even more when these things appeared.

“GRUOOOHHHH!”

It was a monster again, this time resembling a massive forty-meter-tall Armadillo with a shell made of sharp steel and colorful crystals, its giant claws digging through the buildings as it ran towards us.

“I’ll take care of it.”

As the soldiers panicked, Benladann stepped forward, confronting the beast, as she rapidly jumped towards its head, swinging her axe against it. The monster tried to receive her with his giant claws, only to have its claws and head cleaved apart with a single blow.

CLAAASH!

The monster’s head was divided into two and its claws torn to pieces, quickly falling into the paved floor, dead on the spot.

At the same time, the giant thing from the skies descended, its claws about to take one of the flying jets, if it wasn’t because of a bright ray of light hitting it.

BOOOM!

Benladra stepped into the battle, flying towards the skies with her angelic-like wings, and swinging her spear against the beast, whose appearance became clearer.

A gigantic airplane-sized bird, with gigantic claws, brown and white feathers, and a sharp black beak shaped like a scythe.

“Don’t touch daddy’s friends!”

She roared mightily, turning into a full dragon, and then grabbing the monster with her claws, blasting its head and chest with a deadly point-blank dragon breath.

BOOOM!

Another explosion happened, the monster was now dead, falling to the city beneath, collapsing into a building and making it fall into pieces.

At the same time, the two other monsters coming from the ground destroyed the floor, roaring at us… they resembled giant crickets with sharp metallic exoskeleton and glowing red eyes.

“Deploying weapons.”

Kate quickly transformed into her Dragon form, as her shoulders quickly assembled two massive cannons, charging energy and blowing the over twenty-meter-tall monsters into smithereens.

BOOOM! BOOOM!

The soldiers watched the scene in disbelief, unable to even comprehend what happened before all the monsters died on the spot.

“And done,” I said. “Kate, how about deploying some of your robots for this city?”

“I had thought about it already daddy,” Kate nodded. “I’m done preparing them. I’ve programed them to also repair the buildings and try to not destroy them while fighting.”

She opened a portal to her own Realm, born from her Skill: [Mechanoid Factory Soul Realm], as everyone saw gigantic robots stepping out of nowhere, flying everywhere in the shape of many creatures, some dragons, other birds, and some other things.
