Chapter 3285: Could You Follow Me?

Bringing their attention back to the City Hall ahead, the twins calmly walked in, selecting one of the many terminals there. The first thing Rean did was to check if he could access the

Werdlem Network. Yet, even though there was something similar to a big network, the Werdlem Name didn't appear anywhere.

"Weird... there is truly no mention of the Werdlem Empire here," Rean commented. "Are we still in the same Universe?"

Since they were brought to the Werdlem Empire from outside, perhaps the system's change of coordinates truly brought them somewhere else.

However, Sister Orb immediately denied that idea. [We are in the same Universe. There is no doubt about that. The system is still interacting with the Werdlem Network to allow the two of you to have access to cultivation energies. And from what I can see, this is the same kind of access. Seems more like this side of the Divine Realm is isolated from the rest instead.] Roan also operated the terminal, this time using the search engine to look for the name Werdlem. Since this was the Divine Realm, the extreme south was still gigantic, with countless residents spread through who knows how many cities and other settlements. That said, there were indeed many results regarding the word 'Werdlem' in the terminal.

Still, Roan shook his head after perusing through a few of them. "All the Werdlems listed here have nothing to do with the Werdlem Empire. The closest to this is a Royal Family that went by the surname Werdlem, but they are obviously not the same."

Rean took over and changed the approach, now looking for the 'Inquisition Hall' instead of the Werdlem Empire. Finally, some meaningful results popped up for them. "Oh! They do have the Inquisition Halls, and they are considered the greatest power on this side of the Divine Realm. However, they aren't a power like the Inquisition Hall back in the Closal Planet."

Rean checked, and the Inquisition Hall operated more like a Sect than an Empire here. It had its recruitment, its several elders, and many, many branches spread all over the south side. It was so famous that pretty much all its important members were listed, with deep information regarding each one of them.

That was a stark contrast to the Inquisition Hall they knew about. According to Rifindio and what they saw in Closal, the Inquisition Hall was never the type to intervene in any of the worldly affairs. There were no such things as recruitment days or whatever. Pretty much all its members were picked by hand from the already well-established experts around the world.

The Inquisition Hall here, however, had all of that. Its official website showed the countdown for the annual recruitment spree that happened once every year, with the next one just a few weeks ahead. It also seemed to get itself deeply involved with the many affairs of the many continents on this side of the Divine Realm. It even had a continent all for itself, and entering it required special permission, even if you were a member.

"It seems like this is some kind of advanced testing ground," Roan commented.

"I feel the same," and Rean agreed. "Well, that's not our problem. The way the Inquisition operated here is actually good for us. We can even infiltrate one of their branches as disciples or something like that if necessary."

"Not interested," Roan immediately refused. "Let's see what it says about the rest of the Divine Realm."

Rean nodded, and they started to search for information regarding the Divine Realm as a whole. Yet, after thirty minutes of intense research, they got pretty much nothing.

"There is no doubt," Rean commented. "Waritala mentioned that almost no information could be acquired about the extreme south side. Here, it is the same. It seems like people know that there is more to the world outside this place, but no one seems interested, or they were taught to never get interested in the first place."

Kentucky also did his part."There is no information regarding how to go out either. It doesn't say if we need permission to leave. In fact, it says nothing. It is almost as if you are allowed to leave anytime you want, but no one really tries it."

Of course, the twins and Kentucky knew they couldn't simply trust the trust what they found in the network. Since it had no information regarding the Werdlem Empire, no doubt much of the information was manipulated. In the end, they looked for information regarding the country and continent they found themselves in.

"Let's see... At the moment, we are in the Qlonvi Continent, Romane Country. This is the city of Etijei, located on the northeast side of the country. As for the ruling power, this continent seems to be in the hands of the Yokflou Sect," Kentucky added.

Roan searched for the information regarding that sect. "They aren't as prominent as the Inquisition Hall, but they do have some power. This is only one of the continents where they hold most of the strings. Of course, the Inquisition Hall is also present here, with a few branches in several key cities around this continent. There seems to be a few other powers with similar status as well."

They continued to search for more information, but there wasn't much for them to look at. The most important, which was to understand where they found themselves at the moment, had already been answered. As for the rest of the Divine Realm, it was actually quite easy to find. They just had to head north since there were mentions about where borders to the outside were located. As to what would be there or what would happen if they tried, they didn't know.

"This is enough now. Let's find some corner and deal with the rest of our other issues," Roan said as he got away from his terminal.

Rean and Kentucky nodded and also left theirs.

Yet, just as they turned around and prepared to leave, someone approached the three. Looking at the clothes he was wearing, he was obviously a worker of the City Hall. "Excuse me, friends. I would like to invite you over for a chat. Could you follow me, please?"
